Rental electrical planning is a standardised lighting, power and control system: a guest can understand it without instructions, a cleaner can reset a room fast, and an operator can repeat the same specification across every unit. Positions and controls are planned by ELS; the wiring, protection and testing stay with a licensed electrician.

The lighting standard
One colour temperature per sightline
A consistent lighting standard is the cheapest way a rental looks considered rather than accidental. Warm where people rest, cool where they work — and the two never mixed in the same view.

Specified by ELS as part of a designed interior, not as a StayReady level — a scheme like this is drawn for one unit rather than repeated across a block.
The entrance master switch must not shut down:
- Refrigerator
- Router and mesh network
- Smart lock
- CCTV or security system
- Smoke and leak sensors
- Power-failure alert
- Essential exterior security lighting
- Any appliance that requires continuous power

How many points, by unit type
Standardised, per-unit-type quantities so every unit is specified the same way — and repeated. These are early estimator bands, not construction quantities.

The master switch must not turn off the router, refrigerator, smart lock, security system or safety sensors.

Keep the TV, router and streaming equipment on appropriately managed circuits; the router remains permanently powered.

White is the standard finish across every StayReady unit. A second faceplate colour belongs to a designed interior, not to a repeatable baseline — and no third colour until volume justifies it.
Honest by default
Planning guidance — not an electrical contract
- Every quantity here is a planning baseline, not a final electrical drawing. Final points, circuit loads, wet-zone positions and protection must be confirmed by the licensed electrical contractor.
- Use Malaysian-standard switched 13A outlets — avoid universal international sockets, which can have weaker contact retention and inconsistent safety. Keep countertop sockets away from the sink, hob and splash zones; do not install general-purpose sockets inside wet zones. Final positioning follows the applicable wet-area and electrical requirements.
- This is planning guidance, not an electrical contract. Fixed wiring, circuit protection and testing stay under qualified electrical contractors and wiremen. Sockets, switches, dimmers, drivers and lamp fittings may require Energy Commission approval, so mains-voltage products use a certified Malaysian range.
