What a production drawing must actually show

A shop drawing is not a marketing render — it is a build instruction, and an incomplete one invites the workshop to guess. Every hardware position, service penetration and appliance cut-out must be located, and every visible surface must carry a finish call-out that points to an approved sample.

A shop drawing earns trust by being challenged before it is approved, not after. Resolve each query on the drawing itself so the answer is captured, then re-issue for a formal sign-off.
